ACON Smart Grids Gala Evening 2025: Celebrating Innovation and Partnership
The majestic Bratislava Castle set the stage for the ACON Smart Grids Gala Evening 2025, a celebration marking the successful completion of a groundbreaking cross-border project connecting the energy networks of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The evening was opened by Marian Rusko, CEO and Managing Director of EG.D, and Mr. Markus Kaune, CEO and Chairman of the Board of ZSE Group, who welcomed guests with inspiring speeches highlighting the power of collaboration and innovation in the energy transition.
The program featured a panel discussion with leading figures from both the European and national energy sectors, including:
- Paloma Aba Garrote, Director of the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environmental Executive Agency
- Szabolcs Hodosy, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy
- Radoslav Haluška, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZSD/VSD
- David Šafář, Member of the Board of Directors of EG.D
Guests enjoyed an elegant evening atmosphere enhanced by live music, modern stage design, and interactive elements such as a photo wall and LED visual projections. The highlight of the night included a captivating light-and-dance performance, followed by cultural showcases from the renowned SĽUK folklore ensemble and the vocal group Fragile.
The gala was not only a celebration of technological progress but also a tribute to human cooperation, trust, and shared European values. It underscored that innovation, connection, and partnership are the driving forces behind a sustainable energy future for our region.
